Cabrini House residential manager Michelle Dyne has won praise for her hard work after completing a Level 5 diploma in leadership skills.

Pictured with Diagrama Chief Operating Officer Derek Milliken, Michelle recently passed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Adults Residential Management).

The Innovate Awarding Organisation (IOA) qualification consists of modules which are nationally recognised and are based on the Health and Social Care National Occupational Standards (NOS). The NOS, assessment principles and qualification structure(s) are determined by Skills for Care and Development, one of the Sector Skills Councils for this field for work.

This qualification will provide Michelle with the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead others in adult health and social care provision or in children and young people’s services.

Derek said: “This is a great achievement for Michelle. She has worked very hard to achieve this award alongside the pressures of running Cabrini House, particularly as it has been going through a comprehensive change programme including the setting up of the third property and three CQC inspections.”

Michelle added: “Doing the qualification has provided me with the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead others not only at Cabrini but in the adult health and social care provision in general.”
